Newman Family Bids Farewell to Senior Matriarch, Jean Liebrock

LIEBROCK, Jean Kathleen (Newman) 91 years, went to her reward on Saturday, March 5, 2005, at Leamington District Memorial Hospital. Survived by children Floyd (Wyona), Shirley Smith Aerts (Andre), daughter-in-law Karen; grandchildren Dave (Morria), Janice (Mario), and their mother Marjorie; Jim (Pat), Sherry (Alan), Rob (Chris), Carol (Tim), Cathy (Cory), Debra, Michael; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; and other extended family members. Brothers and sisters, Joe, Helen Judge (Winton), Percy, Doris Humber. Predeceased by husband Perry (1991), son Larry (2003), son-in-law Keith Smith (1980), brother Hugh (1997), grandson Mark (1992), Edna Beddard (1993), father Albert (1972), and mother Lulu (1973). Through the years she was active in the Windfall Community, Women's Institute, Rebekah Lodge, Wheatley and District Friendship Club where she did crafts, quilting, and played many games of cards, the Busy Bees and the Wheatley United Church. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street, Leamington, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and Monday March 7, 2005, from 1 p.m. until time of the Funeral Service to celebrate Jean's life, at 2 p.m. Rev. Philip Newman officiating. Interment Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Leamington.
